Kevin Button was appointed to the position of Parks and Recreation Commissioner by Councilman Stan Skipworth on December 15, 2010. Commissioner Button has been a Corona resident for 15 years and works as an educator in the Corona Norco School District. His community involvement includes; Lighten Up Corona, Mock Trial coach, Norco High School Site Council Chairman, and community volunteer.

Kevin moved to Corona in 1992 fresh out of his studies at Oregon State University. He took a position with Kmart as a Fashions Manager where he was responsible for the operation s of all softlines merchandise.

In 1995, Kevin married his beautiful wife Beth Mansell, and his journey began. In 1999, Kevin passed the CBEST and began substituting for the Corona Norco School District. Just one year later, he was hired at Norco High School where he still teaches.
